uh, Bone Shaker, which is, like, 7.1, and then they, they amp it up by the same kind of, uh, skeleton-type character and they just kinda amp it up to 9%.

I mean, there really isn't much difference between 7.1 and, and 9% really. I mean- [laughs]... if you break it down, if you have a couple of them in, in a row and you're- You know, you're g- you'd notice it for sure.

Yeah, the Snow Crown series is, uh, uh, Broken Spoke up in Green Bay is the, the instigator of that, and George is the guy that really pushes that event forward.

this year there was no snow, but fortunately it's on the shore of Lake Michigan and you still get sand, so you couldn't do it on anything but a fat bike. You got a big neat hill climb.

But, and he- It's a real quick, short course... I don't know if he, he probably charges something for the race, but- Sure... what he really- I think it was like 20 bucks last time I did it...

Yeah, it's not very expensive. Yeah. And what he really makes money on, obviously, is that people buy fat bikes, and he's one of the bigger fat bike dealers- Sure... I think, in the country, for sure. Mm-hmm.

And then, you know, stuff like the Birkie.

No- The, the fat bike Birkie up there in, uh, near where Seeley: Bay is, is it, it is where it is because of the infrastructure that the Birkie has built over the last however many, 50, 60 years.

And it's just after the Birkie is run, two weeks later they run the fat bike Birkie because it's towards the end of the season and- Yeah... you know, they can't really do much to the course anymore.

And it just happened to be that the, the, the cross-country skiers made it possible to have, uh, a, a venue that allowed thousands of riders to come, where you can't just do that anywhere.

You know, it's like, it's like doing the Fat Tire Tour of Milwaukee. You can't go to the cool, shitty little bars anymore- 'Cause there's 300 of you... because there's 500 people on it. There, yeah. So, you know. Yeah.

But yeah, for sure. And, uh, you know, a lot of the events have just, they're in the middle of nowhere, like the, the Levis Mounds, that's pretty much the middle of nowhere in Wisconsin. That, yeah.

Like, lots of people go there 'cause it's a great place to ride. Yeah. You call a race there, they'll be, people will show. You betcha. They got camping.

I- And they have that new place to camp, well, at least sleep indoors now, kind of in the lodge. [laughs] Yeah. Yeah.

I, I did see that the, that one event was held there, uh, you were mentioning, that didn't have much snow. But you know what? Honestly, I, I love my fat bike and I don't care if there isn't any snow.

If there's something to ride, as long as it's not- Exactly... uh, you know, wet and cold. I'll either do wet or cold, but not both. And I, I don't mind riding the dry conditions. I mean, I'm, I'm good with whatever.

I mean, it's, it's cool to roll up on another fat biker and s- and check out their bike and see what, you know, grab their tires and see how much pressure they're running and asking them a bunch of dumb questions about their bike.

Because- It, well, [coughs] yeah. So, well, actually, I got something that's super cool, is I, um, right now I'm running a Norco Bigfoot, and, um, it was a 2019 frame that I had.

It was a warrantied issue, so I had to sort of piecemeal it together. So it's not, it's not quite as nice as the 2019 would've been if I would've bought it outright.

[laughs] But so I've kind of got a few, you know, individual, you know, personal pieces on there that I kind of fit together myself that I like. But I did buy this bike from RSD in Toronto. Yep. The Riverside Down- Yep.

Yeah... uh, or it might be in Toronto. We know that frame. Absolutely. Yeah. This, this bike I... So I spied it. It was called the Adventure Rig.

And what it was, it was the, it has the ability to run four-inch tires on 50 mil wide rims, and it has all the brace arms- Oh... for all the bags and all the stuff, but it, but it has the slackness of a, of a trail bike.

And I'm, I'm actually- That sounds really cool... really excited. I haven't actually... Yeah. It's, it's gonna be super cool. I can't wait to actually get the, this...

I had to buy the, it's the same model of bike with a suspension fork, which, which is cool for the summer. And I've ordered the, I've ordered the fork that will accommodate the four-inch tire.

So I'm really excited about trying that bike because it just looks cool. I mean, it, uh- [laughs]... the whole setup just looks really aggressive, and it's, it's a fun bike- Sounds fun...

You can run, he can run pretty good sized tires in it and then, you know, bigger tires in the, uh, bigger wheels, narrower tires in the summer. And he loves it.
