So he did pass that year on RAGBRAI, and for some reason, the crank that, uh, O'Gara wanted to use on it, it wouldn't quite clear the chain stay, so he wanted to send it back to Tom and have him dimple it, but Tom was not around anymore, so he just kinda took to banging on it with a hammer and made enough clearance, which it worked fine.

It really does? Yeah. [laughs] And, uh, and he rode it for years before he decided carbon was more his speed 'cause he wants a 17-pound fat bike or something. Pfft. Because he is the fastest guy- Weenie... in Decorah.
