[upbeat music] [laughs] JK has the sniffles.
0:23
[sniffs] Yes, I'm not doing it on top of the microphones. [laughs] And I don't wanna make toys anymore. Toys. I know it's too early for, for Hermie in the Rank and Bass world. All right. There we go.
0:42
Hey, everybody. [laughs] It's Full Spectrum Cycling on Demand radio program. [laughs] Bingo. Number 30. Hey. Wow. Wow. 30 folks. New, new demographic now. Right? Yeah. We're in the next decade already.
0:57
I hit the three zero. Oh, my God. Now I'm having a crisis. [laughs] Hey, everybody. We're, we're coming to you weekly now here on the old Full Spectrum Cycling thingy. Yeah, here we are. Gomez said so.
1:15
Thanks, Gomez. Thank you, Gomez. So [clears throat] it's just JK and Sven in the studio today. Mr. Teeburger is where, heck did he go? Some sh- Leader Kenny tonight- Ah, yes...
1:31
in, in the Milwaukee The show of shows today in Milwaukee. Yeah. Uh, you know, I'm, I'm envious. That, that would be an, a, a very fun, good, damn show, but-
1:45
Carissa had some tickets she wanted to give away or something... it was also, yeah, it was, it was sold out and, you know, uh, I don't like scratching at doors. Let, let me in, please. Yeah.
1:58
Uh, you know, it- Hey, you got, you got the show to do. Things are much more important. Exactly. Right. Yeah. I mean,
2:05
to be fair, I have, I've, I've bailed on previous podcasts if things are, like, you know, it was Clutch or Ministry or, you know- Oh, for sure. So- Everybody needs a break now and again. That's why we have s- Or-...
2:17
caustic characters to- Or going out-... to keep everybody entertained... east. But I do my due diligence to, "Hey, here I am. Can't you hear the music?" And I remember putting my phone- Oh, yeah...
2:31
and you heard just garble. [imitates static] Yeah, noise, noise at the Clutch show, I believe that was. Yeah. [laughs] It just sounded like somebody, [imitates static] that. [laughs] Yep. Sorta like talking to a alien.
2:44
Yeah, but, you know, you know, just put a pin in it. All is well. Hey, speaking of going east, uh, Wiley Coyote there made it over to the UK. Yeah. Sent me a picture of a beach that looked beautiful.
2:58
Yeah, he, yeah, he's threatening, uh, a token gift for me. Nice. And I was like, "All right." And he was at Saint Stephen's with a rose. I don't know Saint Stephen's. Well, Saint Stephen, Dead song. Oh, right on.
3:14
I got- Gotcha... I just got in my hippie, my hippiness. Yeah, I get it. [laughs] My, uh, my brain is addled today. I think I got a cold coming on, and it's not 100% lucid up there in the brain area.
3:26
Oh, y- you know, welcome to my world- Right. [laughs]... where you have it, and then you get used to it, and then you just sound like this all the time. Yeah, yeah. Well, it must be the change in the weather.
3:35
It's definitely cooled off a little bit. Oh, my, yes. And yes, as I sh- poo-pooed myself last week about having the lobster claws, whatever,
3:50
that weekend of riding, definitely it dropped down to, like, 30 fricking five, and guess what I had, those lobster claws. [laughs] Yep. Lobster claws are good. [laughs] So yeah, we, uh, we did, uh- BikeTober...
4:08
BikeTober Fest. Yeah. That was a good ride. Yeah. Billy's ride? Yes. Ugh, that's always a, always a jam, always a rock polisher where you just-
4:20
You don't- Go- going from one place to the other, I mean, literally up one road from point A to B, but man- Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah... I had zero- A little cir- I had zero- A little circuitous route... yeah, yeah. Yep.
4:35
Yeah. We went from 1st Street to 18th Street, but not direct at all. Not 1.8 miles that way. No. Yeah. I, I had no idea where we were, again. Well, that's a good thing- [laughs]... with the, with the old Bill rides.
4:52
You know, folks- Yeah... uh, Bill was on the show a couple weeks ago. Exactly. You could probably go back in the old back catalog there and look for Bill from Rushmore Records.
4:59
He talks about some bike organizing skills he has, and, uh, his rides basically to keep the ride together, he doesn't tell you where you're going. Exactly. He- So you, if you wanna be on the ride, you need to
5:11
listen for the horn and be ready to ride- Yeah... when it's time to go to the next spot. Where's the, where's the next stop? You'll find out when you get there. Right. I think that's a good way to go. Yeah.
5:18
I mean, you know, there were s- 70, 80 people on the ride and, 'cause it was a little chilly, I think. Mm-hmm. I, I brought two pairs of gloves. I brought the lobster claws just in case. Yeah. Oh, yeah.
5:28
P- pulled them out on the way home. [laughs] Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. It was a, that was a jam. That was a damn jam. So, um, who fell down? That guy that- Oh... that's not here. Yeah. [laughs] Skin knee.
5:44
[laughs] And just riding by him like, "Hey, are you okay? Hey, uh, what?" [laughs] I, folks, T- Tony took a little, uh, curb ride crash. Over the bars. Yeah.
5:55
And t- fortunately, he's not really injured, but, uh, it happened just behind me, and there was a little bit too many people around me to make a quick U-turn. I just thought, "That wasn't Tony," but it was Tony.
6:06
Well, a, a lot of those mishaps are such low speed that you, it's, you can't really hurt yourself. I know... except your pride. Yeah, ask Dave about that. He hurt his hip falling at a mile an hour or whatever it was.
6:20
Had to get a whole new hip. Well, that's- Dang old hip, man. That's fucking Lunds, though. Right. [laughs] That's a d- that's a d- [laughs] we're talking a different species here. [laughs] For sure.
6:36
So yeah, the, um, I don't know. That ended up being good 30 mile day. Yeah, yeah. Ish. Well, like, the, the, the ride itself is about, like, 15-ish- Yeah... miles. Somewhere in there. But
6:49
we're coming from our side, so it's- The to-and-froing of it all... yeah, it's like seven miles to get there and seven miles to get back. So we did 30.
6:57
Got another tour of the old Forest Home Cemetery where the Beer Barons are buried. Yeah. And, uh, well, and a personal escort. Now, that was nice.
7:05
Yeah, the guy that's the night security guy opened the gate for us- Yeah... so we could go in. That was pretty sweet. Yeah, opened it, closed, and then rip, and then opened the other one.
7:14
Rapped over the other side and let us out the far side. That was, that was fucking impressive. That was a good call. [laughs] I was like- Way to go, Bill.
7:21
He's like, when we were at Holler House, he's like, "I have an appointment we have to keep." [laughs] Everybody has to be around. And everybody needs- Like, bunch, bunch, bunch up- Make-...
7:31
more than you bunched up before. [laughs] Yep. Yeah. Good, good call, Bill. Hell yeah. Yeah, yeah. And I th- uh, I know I was never at the 16th Street Tap. That was a pretty good place. Yeah, that was a new one.
7:44
Or whatever it's called. Yeah. G, uh, something. Made it past Level F- well, 42 Ale House. I always wanna call it Level 42. Isn't that a band? Uh, probably. Yeah, maybe. Yeah. I don't know.
7:57
Uh, that's the geek bar with you're, as soon as you're greeted when you walk in by Mr. Harry Potter standing there. Scolding you. Yeah.
8:07
[laughs] Like, every time I walked in the damn door, I'm like, "Ah, Harry Potter's pointing at me." I noticed the Ministry of Magic wasn't out of order this time. That's the men's room door, folks.
8:17
When you're inside for the stall, it's the Ministry of Magic, and, uh- I just keep trying to blast through, uh, Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, and I just keep running my wiener into the wall.
8:31
[laughs] Hey, if you're in Milwaukee and you do go to 42 Ale House, here's something you should try out there. Those freaking cheese curds are awesome. Oh, Hells Bells. Yeah.
8:41
I mean, I was doing the, uh, the bus tray french fry snack for a little bit there, and then, uh... [laughs] Well, you c- a guy leaves a whole- I kinda forgot about that...
8:51
tray of french fries, you know, what are you gonna do? I mean, sitting right there. No, I, no, I, I, it, it, it was disarming.
8:59
The entire ride, to me, was disarming, 'cause, um, I can't remember her name, but the one that was Michael, Michael. They're eating maggots, Michael. Michael, Michael, it's just maggots.
9:11
I can't remember her name [laughs] but as soon as she saw me, she could not stop quoting- Mary? Sure. Maybe. It's, it was driving me insane. [laughs] Like, I'm like, "Ah, what?" Oh, yes, I, yeah.
9:26
At first I thought it was a relative, 'cause that's what my family does. But- [laughs] Sweet... oh, that was... Well, it was just a damn jam. And I th- Oh, top of the hill... I, I, I think it's top of the hill time.
9:44
[bell ringing] Hey, folks. Uh, that, that means we're, uh, stopping at Top of the Hill for a beer here. I think, uh, what do we got today? It's, uh, Indeed Brewing Company out of Milwaukee here. Uh,
9:58
newer brewery, I believe. Indeed. Indeed, it's newer. Uh, we're looking at today Flavor Wave IPA. Yeah. Are, are they, is, are brewing companies gonna run out of ways to name beer at some point, do you think? Hell no.
10:15
It's another one with a really good, uh, label on it. Looks all art decoy. Yeah. It's very '80s pastel. Yep, all Miami Vice and, and whatnot. Doom, doom, doom. What kind of car is that? Doom, doom. Looks like a Celica.
10:27
Doom, doom. Supera baby on there. I had one of those. That's a sweet ride. Uh, Flavor Wave, 6.2% on the old alcoozie, and- Oh. Yeah, that was-... 73 IBUs. I, you know, it's a really pretty good beer.
10:40
I'm, you know, I'm s- International bitter... I'm stuck in my IPA, uh- Yeah, that's what I grabbed... zone, and, uh, this is a good one. Yeah. Uh, yeah, and they have a, uh, um, a grand opening
10:56
block party-ish thing going on this weekend, on Saturday down on 2nd Street. Indeed? Indeed. Indeed. De-doo. [laughs] Band- So, uh, like-... bands and whatnot? Yeah. Um,
11:13
it will be in the show note type thing, but two that jump out early is, uh, uh, Young Revelators with, uh, Alejandro. Alejandro. And a couple later, Platinum Boys. Always a,
11:32
always a good damn jam. Yeah, Platinum Boys, I, I didn't watch the thing yet, but they got a video thing they were pimping on Facebook. Oh, a new one? That they shot. I don't... It's shot in River West.
11:42
I don't know if it's new or if it's just got- Oh, the old one?... on, on the River West page because somebody found it again. Oh, yeah, yeah.
11:49
Uh, yeah, the downtown one where it's, like, outside Valente's and then they just rip around underneath the bridges and shit? Oh, yeah. I know, I, I- It's fun... like I said, I didn't watch it yet. I just- Yeah.
11:59
It just came across my- Oh, you better watch it... my desktop. My, it came across my, uh, my feed zone. My, I don't know. I gotta watch it. Yes. I'm gonna put a link in the show notes.
12:08
Don't just read the, don't read the headlines. Yeah. Actually read the story, I tell you. I blast through those. That's my five-minute- [laughs]... Facebook dump because- Way, I'm just-...
12:18
otherwise I'd waste way too much time on Facebook I know. I have more time to spend on Trailer Park Boys and- [laughs]... Bud Farm Idol Tycoon. I did not get, uh, what's his name? The Forest, the, the- No, I didn't...
12:34
the main guy I was close. I was close. Ah, that's not- I was close... bummed. I spent, spent money on, not cash dollars, but I spent hashtag coins on that trying to get there. I've spent the 99 cents for 1,000 things.
12:47
Oh, man, they're getting money out of you. Occasional. Yeah. Occasionally. Trailer, Trailer Park Boys, folks, it's on iOS and Android. Yes. It's a, uh- It's, it, it-... time-wasting game that- Yeah.
12:55
It's better than Candy Crush, and it has a better storyline. That's the real reason, is it's a Trailer Park Boys thing. Yeah. So don't be dicks. [laughs] Corey Trevor-Smokes, go. Yes.
13:12
I just wanna learn how Julian keeps the, uh, rum and coke tinkling in the glass while he does somersaults and car crashes and all manner of other things- Yeah, yeah... and never- He does, he-... never spills a drop.
13:22
Yeah, he doesn't have a tube. Or does he? [laughs] That would feed that. Mm. He's got short sleeves on all the time. Oh, yeah, for sure. If he had a long sleeve, he'd be like, "Yeah. Oh, yeah. Right there."
13:39
Just like that. That's what I'm saying. All right. Uh, so Friday, Biketoberfest, we did that. That was fun, fun, fun. Um, folks, if, if you got a- Thank you, Bill...
13:50
if you got a chance to organize a ride in your neighborhood, I think, uh, that format's a good one.
13:55
Just find some places you like to go, get a bunch of your friends together on bikes, and don't tell them where you're going till you get there. Yeah. Spend an hour at each spot. Yeah.
14:03
Let the people know- Take in the sights... let the people know that you're coming in with however many you think. Bring a few freaking raffle prizes along the way.
14:11
[laughs] I wa- I was peppered around the, the number, my number, just bing, bing, bing all around it. Never got a... I don't know.
14:18
I did- I missed the first call though, so I might have actually won on the first one, but. I didn't even get a damn ticket. Yeah, man. Well, and it was funny, 'cause I, I thought about it after the, like, the third stop.
14:29
I'm like, "Oh, shit. I don't have a ticket."
14:34
[laughs] But- So just a, just a, a day, Saturday, I don't remember what happened, but Sunday- No, Saturday was a day of rest, you know, and that was the Sabbath for the bikes around here, or at least my bike was.
14:49
And oh, and, uh, Tony, which he'll probably attest to next week, he's like, "Oh my God, I didn't ride my bike on Saturday." And then he realized that he didn't get home until 1:30 in the morning. Ah.
15:03
So he did ride his bike- Good... on Saturday. [laughs] The streak continues. I think we're, yeah, he's, he hasn't missed a day this year yet. Exactly. [laughs] Yeah.
15:11
Even, even folks, if it's a test ride at the shop or around the block, it's still a bike ride. Exactly. Exactly. And no, I, and I thought about that too, and I'm like, I'm like, "Oh, man, I didn't ride my bike today."
15:21
I'm like, "Eh, nope." Did we talk- Nope... about this before with, uh- I rolled-... do, do trainers count inside? Sure. Is that a bike ride? Or not? It's a trainer. Yeah, ass on saddle. Yeah, okay. Ass on saddle.
15:33
According to QBP, it's trainer season. I haven't ri- I haven't used- [laughs]... I, I don't, I don't think I've used a trainer in 25 years.
15:40
Um, but I was looking at all these fancy new, uh, computer-connected ones that let you do all sorts of stuff. I kinda probably ought to get up to speed on it, being a bike shop owner and all. Sure. Sure.
15:52
And then I can sit in here when it's- What- You know, uh-... the things with the rails and the thing and then you put the thing in the thing I'm not doing rollers.
16:00
Just, uh, put it on the wheel thing and- See, this is what I don't know. I don't- Click it in. Take your, there's, take your back wheel off- This is why I don't-... and then it's got gears and everything, some of them.
16:09
Why do I- These things are spendy though. I don't take my... No. No, no, no, no. Yeah, we could fit one, two, we could fit, like, six in here. We could have little spin classes and, "Go, folks, go.
16:21
It's gonna be awesome." Jesus fucking- It'll be a spin studio. Wow. Whee. Well, you'd make money- [laughs]... let's put it that way. I don't know. Some places do. I guess- Yeah, yeah, yeah...
16:33
I would- No, no, there, there is a market for it. There- Way too much high energy for me. But anyway- Oh. Oh... we'll, we'll get into that trainer thing here in a little bit. I'm, I'm still riding outside for now. Hello.
16:43
Yeah. [laughs] Speaking of riding outside, then, uh, Sunday we rode outside some. Oh, yeah. Jungle, jungle, jungle.
16:50
Uh, f- well, the Sunday started, I went out to the NYKA race with, where my son was going to race but had, uh, difficulty breathing, so he de- decided he didn't wanna race, which, you know, if you're not feeling it, man, don't do it.
17:04
Yeah. But, um, I made it back in time to catch registration at the Tiki, Tiki Lounge bar. And then, uh- Intensity, intensity. Yeah. And then we went underneath the freeway and played bicycle race. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
17:19
I think it was a pretty cool course. It was, uh, fairly fast and, um, just a little bit of elevation change and some- Oh, yeah, yeah... dismount-y things.
17:29
Obviously not UCI approved, but, uh- Well, yeah, a lot of the cross guys were just kinda like, "Yeah, this is great." [laughs] "This is not what I'm used to, but this is fucking fine. This is good."
17:42
[laughs] Got your, got your whiskey hand ups, your beer hand ups, your, um- Chicken hand up. Hey, I had to, one of the, so I grabbed a chicken leg while I was shooting photos. Uh, by the way, there's a Flickr,
17:54
uh, album I'll have a link to in the show notes that has pictures from this event. You can get an idea of the flavor. It's basically a social race, I would call it- Yeah... with a few people who are kinda trying.
18:05
Yeah, yeah. Not taking the chicken leg. Yeah. Th- there's a handful that are really trying, and then by the mid-end of it, they're figuring out that nobody's really trying. [laughs] You know?
18:20
[laughs] Oh, the, uh, so- Well, especially go, I, I was working the beer hand up, so I'm kinda getting in the way of, you know, Lance- Like, "Hey, you have to have a..."
18:32
[laughs] Did, did you have a helper at the handoff? Um, yeah. I had a designated helper. [laughs] Volunteering? Yes. He's also absent tonight. [laughs] But yes.
18:50
[laughs] No, it's more fun to mock him in person. Yeah, we'll do that next week. [laughs] Plenty of things to mock him for next week. Oh, lords. [laughs] Uh, so Sprecher- Oh, yeah...
19:02
provided the bruha, and being that there were some sub 17 or 21 or whatever they were childrens, they had the root beer, Sprecher root beer as well. Oh, yeah. Bodie and, uh- Rocket Baby... Rocket. Mm.
19:15
Oh, and, uh, three kids and oh, yeah, ply 'em with sugar water. Yep. Go. Do another lap. Go, go, go, go. [laughs] Do another lap. And they had full facers on, [laughs] so it was like, "How do I get in here?"
19:32
Oh, yeah, for sure. Oh, they, they figured it out. I know. I got, there's a good, there's a good shot or two on the, uh, on those, on the, in the album.
19:39
Uh, I think, uh, Surly gave us some stuff for prizes, and old Everyday Cycles kicked in a few things there, and, uh- Yep... hey, speaking of Everyday Cycles,
19:50
I think we have an ad this week I want people to hear, because, uh [upbeat music] Everyday Cycles is the go-to dealer for the remaining stock of the Chumba USA Ursa Major titanium fat bike.
20:05
Contact Greg at everydaycycles.com for more information. With, with the push of a button, I can make that happen. That was amazing. Hey, folks, these things are made in the USA.
20:18
There's just a few of them left, and, uh, got 'em on sale for 1795 right now. So, you know, come on down and get yourself a titanium fat bike. It don't rust. Don't rust. It don't rust. Gonna be badass.
20:33
You know you want one. I want one. Everyone wants one. Hey, speaking of wanting one, got your frame back from powder finally. [laughs] It's, it's, it's back from powder, but now it's on to the painter, believe it or not.
20:47
Yeah. Believe it or don't. [laughs] So that's- I'm just smiling... that, that's something exciting... I'm smiling and nodding. I'm smiling. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Smile away, boys.
20:57
Well, well, no, smiling and nodding, but then I, I, I, I put the two colors together. Can I change them? No. [laughs] Yeah, no. No, that's gonna be fun. That's gonna be a fun-looking, sexy rig I have.
21:14
Yes, you- And you'll all be looking at it. Yes, you will. Uh. I'm hoping it's... be cool if it was ready for the, uh, event coming up here, uh, Gran Fonduro. That would be. That's a target. Uh, it's a moving target.
21:30
Yes, it is. Actually, no, what would be better, if I could borrow one of your bikes [laughs]- Yeah, I, I-... use that for that. [laughs] Yeah. Actually- Get your bike all full of sand... yeah, just saying.
21:42
[laughs] Or you could take that, take that belt drive Roloff one over there. [laughs] That'll be fine. Just- That's fine. Fine. [laughs] Sand. That's down in Zion, Illinois, folks, November 2nd, 3rd, and 1st.
21:54
I think they're starting it actually the week before now with a beach cleanup. People are coming to our house. Oh, yeah.
22:00
Let's clean our beach kinda thing, and, uh, so if you wanna go have two rides in, in one week on a Sunday, then go down there on the 27th and help clean the beach in preparation for the Gran Fonduro and make Zion look as purty as possible there on the beach.
22:17
Talk to Chris Daisy. He's so crazy over at Zion. Zion Cyclery. Great- Got a lot of fat bikes over there too... great line at Zion. Dang old, dang old Zion Cyclery, man, tell you what. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
22:32
And all you gotta do is go east on that, no, left. Mm-hmm. So, uh, I don't know if you noticed when you walked in the door that another prototype Ziyes bike over there. See that blue thing? Oh, shit.
22:47
It's sitting right there. That- Um, yeah, so f- we're working with, uh, Ziyes Bicycle bikes on these, uh, new models for them, and this is the Time of Your Life prototype.
23:01
And we also have one that they're calling Yonder. Not exactly sure where the name came from, but- Step through... the, the Yonder's an interesting bike because it utilizes...
23:11
So first of all, Ziyes Bikes is a company that's made for riders getting back into cycling for fitness who are on the very heavy side of life.
23:19
And, uh, hopefully the, uh, story to get you back on your bike is you're getting... You know, your fitness is gonna become better, folks, if you ride your bicycle. Yeah.
23:28
And, uh, this Yonder, we used some fat bike standards, like the 170 rear and the 135 front axle dimensions to make stronger wheels, 'cause you get a little better triangulation on your spokes there.
23:42
And then, uh, lots of these folks were looking for, uh, more Q factor, so we went with the 100 millimeter bottom bracket, and that gives you the wider Q factor you're looking for and makes for a stronger frame and a stronger bike.
23:55
Really cool. Not a fat bike, but a bike made strong for people who are large. Yes. [laughs] No, no, I, no, I, no, I was looking for the, uh- ZiyesBikes.com. I'll, I'll have a link in the show notes. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
24:12
But it, you know. Well, no, it, I mean, it doesn't look any- The, the, the-... more- The silver one-... robust... the silver one over there is the Yonder. That's the one I'm talking about. This one's the Time.
24:22
The Time of Your Life is a foot-forward design. It's made for folks who are still a little bit, um, uncomfortable riding a bike maybe because of their size or because they haven't done it in so long. Sure.
24:32
And the, it allows you to put your feet flat on the ground when you're at a stop sign and that type of thing. Well, and yeah, and the step-through. And the step-through for sure makes it a little easier- Yeah...
24:39
to get on and off. Yeah, it's like, uh, I don't need, like, uh. So yeah, if you're, if, if you're one of those people wanting to get back into cycling and, uh- Do it...
24:48
not quite sure how to go about it, maybe, maybe talk to Joan over there to the, uh, size bikes. Hmm. Yeah, see. Sure. Yeah. Got, uh, got a- another fat bike build behind me. That's, uh, Chad's ice cream truck over there.
25:06
Stop me when passing by. Oh, it's gonna be sweet. Paul components. It's got Paul hubs. It's got all manner. That's Moonlander. That's ice cream truck. Stop me when I'm passing by. Oh my my. Where is the Chad?
25:24
Chad, he's the, he's Moonlander and he's ice cream truck actually. [laughs] Jesus. [laughs] Can't keep a fat boy, a fat bike guy down. [laughs] That kinda thing. So, uh- I tell you... I don't know. I don't think we're...
25:39
I don't- nobody's calling in today at the old 717-727-2453, but now that we do this- That spells bike... every single week at 7:00 PM Central Standard Time- Do it...
25:49
we're gonna go ahead and, uh, probably start making people call. Blather. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, what else we got? Oh, uh, Rumble Cross at Harley-Davidson- Things coming up... coming up. Yes... yeah.
26:04
That's, uh, another Chris Zito production, Church of Two Wheels thing, that is gonna be done in conjunction with the Harley-Davidson Museum Bike Night on Halloween, the 31st, Thursday.
26:16
So- That would be kinda something to check out... make, yeah, make sure you show up and ride your bike and make this noise. Broom, broom, broom, broom, broom.
26:24
[mimics motorcycle] Just put your, put your card in your spokes and- Exactly... go do that thing. So yeah. Uh- That'll be fun. That'll be fun. Yeah, that terrain down there, you c- yeah, why not?
26:39
If they're let, yeah, it's gonna be fun. I don't know what trash bike prom exactly is. Trash cash bike prom. Uh, it's, uh, it's one of those, uh, um, Vulture Space bike proms. It's over at Company Brewing, I know that.
26:54
Yeah. It's, you know- That's in Milwaukee too- Yeah... folks. It's, it, it's a, a fun event. Um, yeah. You might get the idea there's a lot of cycling events going on in Milwaukee if you- That kinda thing...
27:07
kinda look at stuff. 'Cause you know what? There is. Of course, are we still on bike 100 days, or is that done now? Uh, probably done. I think there's some- Yeah, yeah... ride to- Yeah, yeah, yeah... Trash Bash though.
27:20
'Cause that's, that, yeah, that's like, like, hello. Um, uh- [laughs] Hello... just do it again. Do it again. Do it again. Why not? Do it again. Why not? Why not? [laughs] What's going on? Why is life so hard? Um...
27:37
No, they end, like, around September. Yeah, I think it's June, July. Yeah. You know, it, it- What's the-... like, starts in May and goes to September. Okay. Blah, blah. Well- That thing... anyway.
27:48
Top of that- That Trash Bash bike prom is happening at Company Brewing on- Yeah... Friday night. That's tonight, folks, the 18th. Yes. And then you can go there and get your picture taken and whatever.
28:01
I don't think I'll be there. I don't think I will either. I think I'll be at Vortice. And that is? [laughs] That's Circle A. That's another- Gee, yeah...
28:09
another bar here in Milwaukee, and Vortice is out of Chicago, and they kick ass- Exactly... in the punk rock- And, uh-... genre. I will be down in the Bay View- Wait, what?... seeing Bleed. Oh, is that the same night?
28:24
Well, yeah. Oh, for crying out loud. Well, Bleed outside at the Pumpkinville in- There's-... with Bills... yeah, that could- Type thing... all right then. So it's 7:10 that Bleed plays. They do two sets and whatever.
28:39
I'm going out there with my mom. Is that at Humboldt Park? Yep. Humboldt Park. Oh. South Side of Milwaukee. Getting closer to Racine, then Kenosha, then Chicago, then
28:49
Indianapolis and Memphis and, you know, you can go to further south if you want, but not gonna do that. Just gonna see how long my mom, uh, hangs. Is she, is she a Bleed fan? [laughs] We'll find out. We'll find out.
29:02
[laughs] We'll find out. And then it'll be like, "Oh, okay, maybe we can catch the last half hour of fucking Vortice." [laughs] Um, no, that's got some, that's got some potential there. [coughs] Yeah.
29:14
Are you- Oh, and, uh- Are you gonna be carting mother around, or are you gonna be riding? Uh, yeah, I, yeah, I have a functional, uh, Jeep again. [laughs] The Jeep r- the Jeep rides again.
29:25
Are you gonna become a Marcus and just, uh, you know- Nope. Nope, nope, nope... not ride your bike since you got a car now? Hell and no. Hell to the no. Jeez, I still don't trust my goddamn car.
29:38
[laughs] And I never did, and never will. [laughs] Except I do trust my brakes. That's all. New brakes. I just put new brakes on Wendy's car yesterday- Oh... as a matter of fact.
29:49
It's break, it's break week here at the old, uh, Full Spectrum Cycling thing. Oh, yes. And thank you for, uh, figuring out that I just lost that little cable part. [laughs] Oh, on your, on your, on your steed?
30:04
[laughs] I don't know. That was weird. I don't know how that happened, but- [laughs] Just saying, break week... little, little bike fixing folks here at the old bike shop. I guess that's kinda what we do sometimes.
30:14
I tell you. Hey, what's the deal with the, uh, the trike guy? What do you know about that? Not much. It just, it just flew across my, uh, radar, and he's kinda hanging, or, or he's just kinda, like, slow rolling,
30:31
uh, along the Erie Canal. Oh, right on. And- So you actually watched this? You didn't just read the headline? I watched part of it. [laughs] Jason, you got competition out there, buddy.
30:42
There's a- No, I don't think it's competition... he's, he's just riding a trike though. Yeah, yeah. He's just, you know... That'd be like, "Hey, I'm doing the oak leaf back and forth." I got you. [laughs] Yeah. Yeah.
30:58
Well, you know, Jason's still out there. I wonder if he's in South Kakalaki yet. We'll check in with him next week or- No doubt... that'd be a good idea to at least get somebody on the show besides us.
31:10
We're gonna have Slam Tony week next week and talk to Jason. [laughs] Maybe. Dude, just hand up the beers. [laughs] Hey, help pour the beers. Uh. Crack.
31:27
[mimics drinking] Come on. So the 27th is Sunday. [mumbles] Yeah, I don't know. One, two, three, and divide by two. Yep. [laughs] Well, hey, heck and a, folks. Uh, I think that's what we got for this week.
31:42
You got anything else you wanna leave the fine folks with here? Um, no, just have a good, good damn week, people. Peace out, y'all.
