But one of our friends had a fire in his garage due to his Bullet electric bike, converted bike, and what I'm not 100% clear on is I don't think it was the battery. I think the charger

overheated or something maybe, and it start... They had a wood box on it to carry their youths in and whatnot. Okay. And it ended up starting the wooden box on fire. Oh, gotcha.

But it also did some damage because it, that... I don't know. It melted some aluminum, so maybe the battery finally did catch or maybe that's what started it. But- Oh, yes...

the only time I've ever seen batteries, like, spontaneously combust is during Early days of lithium ion with radio-controlled planes, and people were pushing them really hard because you can store a lot of energy in there, and that's what you want.
