this Sunday we're gonna launch Milwaukee By Bike, a bicycle tour and rental company, and, uh, we're gonna have a little get together with a bunch of people. Everyone's welcome to come down. It's family friendly.

We're gonna have a little four-hour kinda scavenger hunt, messenger search Milwaukee tour type- Mm-hmm... self-tour type thing.

You can come go, ride by yourself, you can ride with a small group, you can ride with a big group, whatever everyone's comfortable for. Is it the, is it, what, the 28th or is it actually- Sunday the 28th.

like a little- Ever since my return to the States and, uh, even when I lived in Minneapolis, I always wanted to do tours up there when I was working at One on One and hanging out there. And, uh,

got back to Milwaukee and been here for a little while and, you know, kicked it around with you, kicked it around with a few people, and finally kicked it around with the right guy who said, "Okay, let's do it."

And, uh- The guy with the money. Well, no, we took out some loans. Nice. We took out a loan and bought, uh, hooked up with Fixation. We got a bunch of Fixation Eastside, just single speed, 700...

Uh, what did I call them in our, our description? Uh, Euro townie bikes. [laughs] They're just easy. Easy to ride. They're not f- they're not fast, they're not heavy, they're just easy. Yeah. Yeah.

They're just easy to ride and we'll keep everybody at the same pace, nice slow, easy, casual paces. Um, do some tours. We have a couple tours. We did, we, you were part of one where we- We did a-... where-...

And that one, that one's gonna have to change too 'cause we went when the lakefront wasn't real busy, and when the lakefront's real busy and you got 10 people on bikes trying to stay together- Yeah, that, that's tough...

We have one where we plan to go to the different breweries, Lakefront Brewery, Schlitz, a park, uh, Pabst Brewery, you know, just so people can see the old architecture- It's a big ride... and structure.

But it's, it's like, do... What, what can people do? What, what do you guys wanna see? Right. You know, do you guys wanna go see the art museum?

Some people could give a rat's ass, would rather go see, you know, uh, something else. A church. All the, all the churches, yeah. Yeah, exactly. [laughs] I, I had one of those in city.

Lady wanted to see all the churches, and I was like, "All right, we'll do that." There's like 4,800 of them. A month, a month and a half later- [laughs]... she returns. Well, there's not a lot of churches in Australia.

Oh, I thought you were talking about here. [laughs] No, no. Oh, here, God, we could go to a, a kajillion. That's a decade-long ride. Yeah. [laughs] Just in Milwaukee. Exactly. But yeah, so that's what we're gonna do.

We're looking at some space along the bike path, and, uh, then get into teaching safe urban cycling, rerouting yourself, alternative routes, how to get to work, what, what, what kind of bike you need for what, what you want, you know, kind of like a coaching- A consulting...

a consulting, coaching- It's good... and work with the different shops. People say, "Oh, what shops did I go to?" And I'm like, "Well..." They're like, "What shop do you go to?" And I was like, "Ah, no."

And people are intimidated by it, and people want protected bike lanes and stuff, but it's, you really just don't ride where there's cars. Ride alternative routes.

on the fat bike coming up, I just took, rode the ridge across Holton and stayed up on top. Yeah, absolutely. That's the way to go.

I almost went down your route and went east around, uh, the bike path to Locust and then across Locust. Oh, it drops in, yeah. Sounds like it.

Uh, Whitefish Bay now has its own mountain bike team- Wow... which is in part of the North Shore composite anymore. But they're not having a race season,

and instead they're doing a thing called Adventure where they're still gonna go to the race venues but not packed with 5,000 people. Right.
