It seemed like things were starting to, to s- you know, there wasn't too many cases, but now e- that everything's kind of back to semi somewhat normal, it, the cases have gone up and they're toying with different color codes and different closures.

Some places are closed and some are open. It's, it's kinda tough to navigate what you might or might not have, like, uh, to be able to go or do o- on any given day. So it could [laughs] you know, it could, uh...

They're still doing the two-meter distance, uh, wear your mask, uh, you know, that sort of thing. But we're pretty... You know, things... That's been just pretty static for the last quite a few months, but, uh- Yeah.

Like you said, it, it could change from state to state, town to town, and it sounds- Yeah... it's pretty crazy because up here you're not gonna get necessarily screamed at if you're wearing a mask.

People are pretty good about it, but down there it seems like it could be a bone of contention depending on where you are if you're either wearing or not wearing a mask, and it could [laughs]

we had about, you know, half a foot there earlier on in the week, and now it's sort of warmed up, so it's getting a little bit crunchy and packed down, which is okay. And then, uh, it'll be nearly...

It'll probably be about thir- it'll, zero degrees Celsius, 33 Fahrenheit. Yeah. So it's warm enough to drink beer in the woods for sure, so we'll- Yeah...

we're just gonna head out from the house here and, and, uh, you know, kind of pick up a couple people here and there. It's not gonna be a huge... We're not really organizing a huge event or anything necessarily. Right.

Right. But you'll see people at certain spots. There's cer- a couple of trails near the, near my place that, that, um, is q- quite popular. We wanna say they haven't gone quite Hollywood.

They're not actually naming each an in- individual trail, but it's, it's pretty busy there on some weekends and, um, yeah.

So we'll just kind of putter around and find a good spot to geek into the woods and have a nice cold beer, and that's, that's sort of the plan anyway. We'll just see where it takes us, how long we...

until we get hungry or tired, and then we come home, but [laughs] yeah. Right on. That seems to make sense. We are men after all. Yeah.

Well, down here it's, uh, also, uh, Santa Rampage day, which normally would be a very big deal in Milwaukee 'cause it's a fundraiser for the Wisconsin Bike Fed, and there's often several thou- thousand, uh, thousands of people- Yes...

on the very, uh, main part of the ride. But I think it's gonna be just a lot more disparate Santas, and many of them on fat bikes, but not the, you know, the big conglomeration of people.

There's, yeah, like with the Santa Rampage, and most people are wearing the, the official Santa style hat. Does it fit over the helmet, or do you just... Like, I mean, after- Well...

a few beers, I, I like ha- wearing my helmet. I don't, I don't mind at all. [laughs] You, have you gi- But I have a hard time figuring how to put the, the hat over the helmet.

I, I have a, yeah, I have a helmet I wear once a year that has a hat on it. Yeah. You can get creative. Um, that's, that's not a real big deal.

You can, you can figure out ways, but, uh, it is a snail's pace in most of the, at the major parts of the ride. Uh, it's- Right... you know.

I, I got a, I got a mall Santa suit that was a rental that I got for a really good price, but JK has the... What do they call that thing? A Snuggie? Yeah. The Santa S- A Santa [laughs] Snuggie.

And, and the, um, Joe Boxer, uh, Santa lounge pants, like- Yeah... pajamas essentially. It d- it's perfect. Absolutely. And, and tent sealed. Yeah. Tent sealed. Have you re-tent sealed it this year? Uh, yes I did.

Well, the, the bike itself, like I actually, I call...

I put on the winter tires, which is the, just the V rubber, just some V rubber, miscellaneous V rubber, I think they were snow shoes or bulldozers that I had, uh, purchased from a friend.

And it just, I just saddle 'em up with my, uh, 2019, uh, Norco Bigfoot, and that's the one that I ride routinely. I ride in the summer, winter. I don't, I don't think it should be relegated to just one particular season.

Right. I love it. It's just a nice bike to ride. I did a really considerably long ride on it, and I f- and it wasn't, I wasn't the least bit sore after doing a really long two-day bike packing trip.

So I'm, I'm very, very happy with the bike. It's fit well and it feels good, so it's- Nice... yeah. We see a couple of those around. It's all around easy bike. Yeah, the, I, I mean it's- Not too many. We see a few...

it's a company that I've always been impressed with because they give you a good value for the buck. Um, but it's not, uh, something that we see in the Midwest a lot.

I think the West Coast got a little bit more Norco rep out that way. Right. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, it's definitely, it's a definitely sort of a more West Coast. And we get them here. There's just different dealers.

We'll, um, you know, you, you could go to one dealer and you'll, they'll have one specific bike. And, but I'll tell you something that I did see that I thought was super cool today.

I, I went into my friend's, uh, I have two friends actually, both of them own bike shops, and, uh, I saw a, uh, Chromag, uh, fat bike, which was absolutely incredible to look at. And, and they're, they're very high end.

They, they're f- they come from, uh, British Columbia as well, near, uh, near Whistler. And, uh, they, they do f- most, I think it's mostly frames. They'll, you know, custom frame stuff like that.

But this fat bike, uh, it was just really, it's just such a nice bike to look at. And it, it, uh, you could, you could just feel high, high quality just by looking at it.

It was a great looking bike, and I don't think they make them anymore necessarily, but I think that they did toy with the, with the frame for a couple years there, and then I don't think that they mass produced them.

Yeah, I think they were one of the early ones along with Schlick that went with the more slack head tube and steeper seat tube. More like a- Mm-hmm... kinda like an all mountain bike. Yeah. Yeah, I remember those. Yeah.

my s- me, I'm actually having a, uh, a Cowbell Brewery, uh, Hazy Daze- Cowbell... hazy juicy IPA, and it's a 6% alcohol by volume. It's, it's, it's a fantastic brewery. That sounds all right.

Um, had the opportunity to visit this summer. Um, they're, it was a, uh, it's, it's kind of like a, it's, it's a very environmental friendly place.

They recycle all their water, and they donate to a bunch of charities, and they employ a bunch of the people in the town. And just a great, great brewery.

It's a, I wouldn't say a microbrewery by any chance, 'cause when you pull up to the actual brewery itself, it looks like a, it's kind of an out in the country, so it's a, looks almost like a barn, but a really nice barn.

So you can go in there and eat and, and, uh, they have all kinds of different, uh, food from around the different farmers that provide the, the meat and potatoes from the, from the farms. It's great. Great spot.

Pabst Brewing, which obviously was a big thing here back in the olden times- Yeah... had come back and were brewing in Milwaukee again as, as Pabst Brewing House. Recently- Yeah... learned that they're not gonna make it.
